HealthDataViz Joins Forces with CHOP’s NJ Safety & Health Outcomes Center to Launch Innovative Traffic Safety Website
May 15, 2024
HealthDataViz (HDV) is excited to share the outcome of their year-long partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP’s) NJ Safety & Health Outcomes Center (NJ-SHO) and NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety. Together, we launched njsho.chop.edu, a cutting-edge website featuring interactive dashboards and resources aimed at promoting traffic safety, transportation equity, and injury prevention across New Jersey.
The innovative platform provides a wide range of evidence-based resources designed to drive positive change in traffic safety throughout the state. Users can leverage the interactive data dashboards to visualize, monitor, and track critical traffic safety measures within their communities, with the goal of reducing road fatalities and injuries over time.
HDV’s collaboration with the NJ-SHO Center for Integrated Data has transformed the way traffic safety data is collected, integrated, analyzed, and shared in New Jersey. Using the innovative NJ-SHO Data Warehouse and partnering with CHOP’s team, we developed user-friendly dashboards that offer unprecedented access to vital traffic safety information. These tools empower communities and policymakers with the insights needed to implement effective safety measures and reduce the burden of traffic-related injuries and fatalities.
